How long has Oberweis Asset Management, Inc.  been managing money?

Oberweis Asset Management, Inc. ("OAM") was founded in 1989.  James D. Oberweis, President and founder of the firm, has over 30 years of investment experience managing small-cap growth stocks.  All of the other investment professionals at OAM have spent most of their careers managing small to mid-sized growth stocks portfolios.

What is the minimum account size needed to open an account?

A $5.0 million minimum is needed to open up an institutional account.

Who will be managing my account?

Each equity product has a lead portfolio manager who will serve as your primary contact.  All of our investment professionals serve as both portfolio managers and analysts in selecting stocks for portfolios.

Can I meet or speak with my portfolio manager?

Absolutely.  OAM encourages clients to develop a good working relationship with our portfolio managers.  Since we are a small boutique firm, we offer a high degree of personalized service that may not be available in larger firms.

What are your fees based on?

Our fees are based on total assets under management, and are payable in arrears at the end of a quarter.  We are also willing to work with you in developing a performance-based fee schedule if you prefer.

What is so unique about your products?

Each of our products is extraordinarily style-box consistent, both in market capitalization size and high-growth characteristics.

How has your performance been?

Excellent! All of our products have outperformed the appropriate benchmark by a wide margin since inception of the product.

Can I choose my own custodian?

Yes.  You may have your assets at a custodian of your choosing.
